Most human beings wish to connect with the place inside them that is clam, kind, loving, and relaxed. The truth is that all human beings have parts inside themselves that are hard to be with. That might mean excessive worry and stress, persistent anxiety, anger or restlessness. When those parts are not related to, met with and understood, the impact continues to live inside your body, mind and heart. That can manifest as isolation, excessive busyness, numbness, loneliness, anxiety or fear. Whatever feels difficult, embarrassing or vulnerable in your life at the present moment is the exact experience that will lead you to being more at peace and at ease with yourself.
Becoming Friends with Yourself interweaves yoga and meditation practices with awareness, openness, and presence. This is done through guided meditation and relaxation, self-reflection, gentle yoga and breathing practices. These PRIVATE SESSIONS are a path that will cultivate an inner friendship with your experience in life. This journey of Becoming Friends with Yourself will ease feelings of anxiety and overwhelm, calm your mind, and foster deeper connections in relationships.
These sessions welcome you exactly as you are. Prior yoga or meditation experience is not needed or required. These sessions are not therapy and I do not diagnose or treat mental illness or acute trauma. Yoga and meditative practices are the core principles of these sessions that uncover qualities of your essential nature that are already present.
Before committing to a series of sessions, we will schedule a 30 minute complimentary phone consultation to talk about your intentions in working together. We will decide if working together will be beneficial to you. My intention is to be of service and most helpful with my skills.
Private sessions are available on Wednesday afternoons and evenings and Thursday mornings. Each session is 60 minutes. I offer these sessions with a five-week commitment for continuity and dedication to this process. The cost is $250, $50 per session. The sessions are designed to be attended consecutively unless prior arrangements are made. After five sessions, each single session is $65 or a commitment to another five weeks.
