Anxiety is an experience that can feel overwhelming….
The first steps to restore and soothe the impact anxiety and stress has on the mind and body is to bring awareness and friendliness to it. One way this is done is through mindfulness, yoga, and breathing practices to calm the nervous system into ease and relaxation. The next step is to cultivate a deeper understanding of the ways that we relate, judge and regard these experiences. The practices in Part I are the foundation that we will build on to contemplate and reflect the discomfort and unease of stress and anxiety. This will be done through mindfulness, journaling and reflective practices.
Prerequisite: Mindfulness and Yoga for Anxiety Part I or approval by Carly.
