TIPS TO PREPARE FOR CLASS   

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes before class time. Two restrooms are available in the studio if you need to change clothes.  Please turn off your cell phone.  In cases where you cannot arrive on time, please be respectful of the others in the class and enter quietly or after the beginning meditation ends. 
     
  • You may purchase your class package on the day you would like to start attending classes.  There is no need to pre-register unless specifically indicated. 
  • Please take off your shoes before entering the main yoga space. It is a sign of respect for our space.  It also keeps the space cleaner, especially in harsh weather.
  • Comfortable workout attire should be worn. Layers are best, as your body temperature changes throughout your practice. Be prepared to work in bare feet. If you have long hair you may want to tie it back.
  • Please refrain from using perfumes or heavy scents.
  • We have a few mats available for loan.  We encourage you to purchase your own. Having your own mat is more sanitary.
  • Avoid practicing with a full stomach and drink plenty of water before class to remain hydrated through your practice.
  • Yoga is a process. Be consistent in your practice. Be patient and compassionate with yourself.
  • Practice as often as your schedule allows.  The more you practice, the greater the benefits.
