Restorative classes use a series of simple poses, in which the body is fully supported by props. Each pose is held for an extended period of time once your body is comfortable to promote deep relaxation. Restorative yoga also helps the body to de-stress, bolsters immunity and help improve digestion and sleep.
In these Friday night classes you will:
- Create a deep sense of restfulness as you tap into your nervous system helping you unwind and down-regulate.
- Explore meditative practices which can be utilized in other areas of your practice and life off the mat.
- Experience yoga nidra – yogic sleep or guided meditation – and an extended savasana.
No experience necessary.
