Alice was introduced to yoga as a teenager when she tagged along with her mother to yoga class. As life brought many changes, challenges, and opportunities her yoga practice (in one form or the other) was a constant. It wasn’t until she faced months of rehabilitation after a serious illness, that she began to realize the importance of yoga in her life. Alice came to teaching as a way to help others find the peace that yoga has given her. She is certified at the 200 hour level through The Temple of Kriya Yoga and continues to attend workshops and advance training classes. In class, her focus is on proper body alignment and helping students discover the body/mind connection through the breath. Most importantly she encourages students to take poses to their own level by listening to the body and treating the body with compassion.
