Alice has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2007 and practicing since she was a teenager. She is inspired by practices that emphasize proper body alignment.
She is certified as a 200 hour level yoga teacher from the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago and competed her 500 hour level Advanced Teacher Certification at Prairie Yoga in Lisle with an emphasis in adaptations. She became a level two Reiki practitioner in 2014. Throughout her teaching career, she has continued to gain knowledge from attending numerous workshops and conferences.
Alice says, “I teach yoga because I want to share the profound healing impact yoga has had on my life. I am drawn to help others find peace and integration of body, mind and spirit”.
Alice teaches several Mindful Yoga classes. A mixture of classic yoga poses, breath awareness and meditation, her classes are appropriate for seasoned yogis as well as students brand new to yoga. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and modifications are offered. Alice is also available for private yoga and reiki sessions.
