Amy Slyfield

Amy began her yoga journey in 2005, when her employer offered yoga classes in a conference room.  Originally interested in yoga as a way to increase flexibility and strength, she soon realized the wonderful calming benefits of yoga.

Her passion for yoga stems from her belief that yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are in their life.  She encourages students to incorporate yoga into their lives each day, knowing that a regular practice can positively impact both mental and physical health.

Amy received both her 200-hour and 500-hour certification from Prairie Yoga.  She works full-time as a corporate meeting planner. Both teaching and practicing yoga keep her grounded and balanced.
