Andrea’s journey with yoga began eight years ago. She has always lived a very active lifestyle and participated in a number of sports over the years. A friend introduced Andrea to yoga as another fitness activity, and not long after, she became hooked on the benefits yoga brought to her daily life. Yoga has helped Andrea to grow strong, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. For the past six years, working as a primary classroom teacher, Andrea has implemented yoga within her school day. She is passionate about helping children deepen their self-awareness, build self-confidence, and regulate emotions. Andrea completed a Children’s Yoga Teacher Training followed by a RYT 200 hour training at Zen Yoga Garage. She is eager to share this practice with yogis of all ages and levels. Her hope is that when you step off your mat, you leave class feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
