Jennifer has always had a lot of energy and has always been very busy. Therefore, she loves running and other high impact sports that really get the adrenaline pumping. She had always wanted to start a yoga practice because of the inspiration of her mother, who has been a “yogi” for as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, this did not come easily to Jennifer’s energetic character. She had trouble “slowing down” and focusing on the quieter aspects of her own life.
It wasn’t until she suffered from a series of injuries, caused from high impact sports, that she knew something had to change. Once again, she returned to yoga with a whole new level of commitment. Yoga did improve her physical well- being, but what she didn’t anticipate was the mental and emotional changes that came to fruition. She soon found her “struggles” with herself began to dissipate. Jennifer felt calm and, for the first time, felt true peace within her own soul. This is when she decided to enter her own 200-hour teacher training to spread this extraordinary discovery to others like herself.
