Lauren found yoga at a gym in 2008 as way to stretch after tough workouts, with the hope that it would also help ease the anxiety she struggled with. She found yoga transmuted her experience with anxiety as she fell deeper in love with the practice. She knew eventually she wanted to share the gift of yoga with others.
Years later, her incredibly challenging and heart opening initiation into motherhood made her purpose in teaching yoga crystal clear. She now supports mamas and mamas-to-be through the transformative experience of pregnancy and early motherhood. She guides her students through the practices of movement, breath, and meditation to gain strength, find balance, heal their cores and connect to their inner goddess wisdom. She lives by the mantra, “Nurture me, Nurture You” and will help you prioritize your self-care so you can experience more ease and grace in your daily life.
Lauren is a 200-hour Experienced Yoga Instructor (E-RYT), Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Instructor (RPYT), Postnatal Fitness Specialist and she holds an MA in Communications. Since 2017, she’s focused her continuing education on Yoga for Pelvic Health. In addition to her work with moms, Lauren teaches Slow Flow, Restorative and Yoga Nidra.
