Maureen started yoga when she was in her forties as a way to stay physically healthy. As she became involved in yoga she realized how beneficial it was not only in the physical sense, but emotionally and spiritually.
With the guidance of Mary Samono and the other teachers at Kriya Temple, Maureen received her 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher certification.She continued to practice alignment and adjustment techniques under the guidance of Lori Gaspar and her team of teachers at Prairie Yoga. Gabriel Halpern from Yoga Circle has been a powerful force in her continued training toward therapeutic yoga.
